Bag End Canvas Print

For those familiar with The Hobbit and Lord of The Rings trilogy, this is Bag End where Bilbo Baggins lives. It is not an exact replica of his home from the series, it was created from a combination of visitor photos and my husbands imagination.

As a child, I loved to draw and did it every chance I got, even in class. My art teacher in primary school got permission from my parents to put my drawings in the art gallery with which she was affiliated. Alas, I never saw them again. I didn’t start painting until I was an adult. My mom was taking art classes at a community center and I loved her work. I asked her to teach me what she knew…and I’ve been hooked ever since. My first couple of years I spent devouring as much information as I could through books and art shows. I enjoy painting with acrylics and oils and have a love/hate relationship with both.
